Drop shot par threes

While there a LOT of dopey par threes with the tee on a cliff, good ones are a joy.  

This is my favorite so far. (Despite having endured almost two hours of cold "mizzle" to get there)



The photo is from the 15th tee at Hopeman GC, but the hole #12.  The 12 tee is on the hill in the background.

Supposedly Paul Lawries favourite par 3 if a I remember correctly. A really nice hole but the walk back up to the next tee is a pain, particularly if you've mad a hash of it.

Ken,

yes a nice little par 3. Hopeman is a good 18 holer that would be so much better if a radicle gorse clearing program were carried out. Very good one at Kingussie.

They have been doing some gorse removal it appears.  But you're right, it would be more interesting with even less gorse.
