I did some quick looking around...while overall peeps are positive on the product, here are the cons I gleaned from a 4-5 reviews:

- Can’t keep stats
- Does NOT show distances centerline of fairway
- No indication that unit is fully charged
- Unit takes a while to initialize
- If you’re at a golf club with multiple courses in the area, sometimes it loads the wrong course
- No auto forward to the next hole
- It doesn’t give you an indication where bunker hazards are.

Looks a lot like the Bushnell Neo+ which is available for $100-125.  It uses iGolf's database and comse with 16,000+ courses loaded.

I have a Bushnell XGC+ that comes from the factory similarly equipped.

They are a reasonable option, and don't have any ongoing fees.

I recieved the Garmin golf watch this past summer for a birthday gift.  It's very simple to use has tons of courses available and is a the same size as any other sport watch.  Gives you front middle and back yardage wherever you are on the course.  Very impressed in limited use...had knee operation so didn't get alot of rounds in this fall.
