"Plans for the latest phase of Donald Trump’s multimillion-pound golf resort stalled yesterday – because councillors had not received key paperwork in time."

Word on the street has it that the paperwork wasn't finished because Trump's team had spent too many days in Hawaii looking for President Obama's birth certificate.  ::) ;D

Double C'mon, it's Donnie Trump:

I gave up trying to choose my champions the day I saw Steve Bartman put himself in the game.

Trump is smart and practical.

They'll work the clubhouse issue out.

Pat calls Trump smart and practical. Jon Stewart on the Daily Show has many things he calls Trump but smart and practical are not on the list. The comedy writers love him because he makes their job so easy. Trump is like Lindsay Lohan, any news is good news and loves anyone who talks about them no matter what they say. The other way to say it. When someone craves attention as much as Trump and Lohan, there is nothing they will not do to get attention. DT check to make sure you take your knee pads off before the TV light comes on. He does gives me many laughs during this new found desire in being a political idiot or buffoon period.

Bartman's seat?
I may never get over that.
Shouldn't that be permanently removed?

Two days the Donald was in "secret talks" regarding the wind turbines, today he is calling for a public hearing!

Ouside of the obvious reason why DT doesn't want a wind farm (if anyone is going to harness the power of a big wind it'll be him  ;) ) ,there is this:

At least he is consistant, he complained about proposals for a windfarm long before he got planning for the development. At that time he threatened to pull out if the windfarm went ahead. I'm sure some of you guys have a better idea than me what he's spent to date but I can't see him pulling it now.

I'd love to see wee Eck stuff and give the go ahead for the windfarm. As though anyone is going to decide against a round there because of a few windmill 20 miles away.

sshhh, he is thinking about the next big deal.

No actual golf rounds were ruined or delayed, nor golf rules broken, in the taking of any photographs that may be displayed by the above forum user.

What amazes me about Steve Bartman's seemingly perpetual infamy is that at least once a game I see fans in ballparks all over the country doing exactly the same thing. Most of the time it's not even a close or meaningful game, but it seems as if every fan who sits in a front row seat at a ballpark believes he or she is entitled to any ball her or she can reach, despite that fact that a player from the home team is desperately trying to turn that foul pop into an out.

Bartman (metaphorically) died for our sins.

Rick,

I was at that game 1 or 2 sections over from Bartman.  You never heard the air come out of a crowd like that night.  Brutal.

Jud, I'm sure everyone there has that moment seared in their memory. I still question whether, sitting in a front row seat sometime in the future, all of them would have the presence of mind not to do the same thing.

Rick,

Its like the old saying...time and place for everything.

Messing with a foul ball in game 51 of a 162 game schedule in the middle of june?  Not a big deal.

Messing with a foul ball that would have closed out the Marlins and sent the Cubs to a World Series with a great chance to end the 90-something year old curse of the Chi Cubs and liberate millions of fans globally?  A fair bit bigger of a deal!  ;)

Kalen, we'll see it happen again in a playoff or World Series.
