My apologies if there has been a earlier thread, but has anyone seen either of these books?

Can't say I have. Looks like another coffee table book to me but not sure the cover really sells whats in very well. Thinking of making a small investment ?

Looked at some of the gallery where they had a "buy this print" button. As far as the photographs are concerned, you would get much more attractive ones going to Aidan's website and buying there.

Looked at it but lost interest after I saw the pictures and course drawings of the 18 Scottish holes.

Nothing in it from Muirfield or North Berwick but holes from Hopeman, Spey Valley, Loch Lomond, Kingsbarns & Machrihanish Dunes.

Actually David, that was what I found quite refreshing. No doubt that NB and Muirfield deserve their status as top courses but thats not to say that other lesser courses don't have individual gems within them. Probably the least known in this list is Hopeman which I've played several times over the last few years and while the course is a t best of a the good holiday course variety the par 3 featured in this book is quite excillerating even if it is a flick with an 8 or 9 iron.
