6 3's - 6 4's - 6 5's
« on: December 01, 2011, 04:17:04 PM »
Watching the Chevron where they are playing at Sherwood CC where by back niine has 3 3's, 4's & 5's. I like that concept, how may courses out there have an equal number of par holes? Seems like it would be a fun course setup.

Robert Trent Jones Jr has done that on a number of courses including University Ridge in Madison...

There may be more threads in GCA's archives asking how many courses have this configuration than there are courses that have that configuration.

Downingtown CC's (George Fazio) back 9 is three of each.
The first 12 holes are cool and the variety on the back make for a fun round.

Perhaps Eric P will chime in.

Emilio,

I recon if you read Pete's linked threads you will find this out, but Spring Hill in Albany, OR has this configuration. Get yourself down there and test out your degree of liking for it.

And I think one of the 9s (maybe both) is that way at Poppy Hills.

Cheyenne Country Club in Cheyenne Wyoming has this configuration.
