I think if an average everyday "retail golfer" got to play Seminole, they would not be impressed and would have very little interested in returning.

I would assume ESPECIALLY when you exclude the history, exclusivity, allure, etc.

Wouldn't the same be true of most well regarded privates?

A lot of what makes the private club golf courses well regarded is that the clubs themselves have "history,exclusivity,allure,etc.".

Think a lot of non-members of Seminole want to play there because of the architecture?
