Rhode Island CC - Hepner & NMP Bunker Work

I met up with Bruce Hepner this morning at Rhode Island Country Club to check out his recent bunker renovation / restoration.  I have attached a few images below showing the work in progress for those familiar with the course.  NMP Construction out of VT is doing the finish work.  As always, the finished product is grade A quality.  All 136 bunkers are being renovated with 18 being removed or combined, leaving 118 after work will be complete.

I just came across this today. Thank you for posting these...some great stuff. Seems like a great property. Would love to see some before pictures if possible.

I don't mean to be a smart arse but for me the best looking hole is the 18th before the bunkers have been sodded. Where all the sand is at the bottom of the bunker and you have grass faces the same lush green colour as the grass throughout the rest of the course, you have a lack of defintion from a visual perspective which I think is unfortunate. I much prefer different colours of grass and splashes of sand to make it more interesting.
