I read Jane Leavy's biography of Mickey Mantle, which was published a year or so ago. Highly recommended to those of a certain age who grew up a Yankee fan.

That's a lovely and loving story.   I loved her line, "Oh my god, I've got my father's ass!"

Near the end of his life, my dad played with me in a scramble.  He couldn't hit full shots anymore but he holed three or four birdie putts.   He couldn't have been any happier if he'd played like the 5-handicapper he used to be!
