Sean, I'm not sure you can call yourself a Yank anymore when you spell "favourites" the Brit way.

Tommy

I often confuse spellings and pronunciations. People ask me all the time how I grew up saying words and I need to consult google  :o

Heading to Liverpool for a golf trip in late August for the first time and have one more round to fit into the itinerary (playing Hoylake, Birkdale, Lytham, and West Lancs) and need to choose between Formby and Hillside.  Seems like this would be the most appropriate and well-informed group to opine on this decision...

Absolutely buzzing to get back to England to golf as it has been nearly 3 years since my last trip there (previously did golf trips to Surrey and to Kent/SE England)

Once I get to 20 courses in England played (will be 2 short after this trip), I'll be more suited to provide my personal ranking

Formby. No doubt whatsoever. With a game on the Ladies’ Course as a perfect additional option for one of the best 36-hole days in the UK.
