Pinecrest Inn

If you can't stay at the Pinecrest, then where do you go in Pinehurst?

Main Resort not an option.

Thanks,

my completely biased answer would be to stay at Little River.  Resort, everything you need in one place.

If you want to stay in the Village, the Magnolia Inn is a good option.  Recently changed hands but has been nice in the past.

Last resort situation, would be the new Holiday Inn Express. It's new, clean and the bathrooms are not closets. It's also located within walking distance of 5 dining establishments. Bonefish Grill being the closest and damn good.

All things Pinehurst begin and end with the Sandhills Insider...courses, lodging, food, etc.

Check it out if you are going to the area (http://sandhillsinsider.com/)
