Danny,
Welcome, I took my father to Old Head for his 60th birthday, and it was well worth the travel to play your course with him. On the day we were shceduled to play, a major fog had rolled in. We were able to get 7 holes in before the course was closed. The staff was very accomodating in allowing us to come the next day.
With the cliffs so close, do you guys close often when fog rolls in? The lack of visibility could be dangerous!

Danny - Welcome.

I've been to Old Head twice and played 5 rounds there. The facility, staff and golfing experience are all top notch.

It's an amazing piece of property. You are a lucky man to have that as your "office".

Last time I played there was some major re-sodding being done on 17. Was that a one-time thing, or is that hole prone to wind erosion?

In answer to your question, perhaps this young lady may be able to help you

I might have to take longer than the allowed 5 minutes to find my lost ball!
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.
