Chris Cupit on Sirius/XM

I had the pleasure of catching most of Chris' interview from Rivermont CC yesterday on Sirius/XM.  Both he and Mike Riley made some very interesting points on the state of the game, architecture  and bifurcation.  Additionally, the Evil Knievel story was clarified ;)

If Brian Katrek would have talked less about his brutal golf game (nice 80 in qualifying) and interrupted with inane comments, we could have heard more from Chris and Mike. 

Chris, do you happen to have the audio from the interview?  I think many here would be interested in hearing the entire dialogue.

Weird.  I've actually had some other people ask as well.  I heard it went well and frankly it is a little flattering.  It was fun to do and I will try and contact Brian as I would love to hear what in the world we actually said as well :)

If I find anything out, I will pass it along.

BTW, Brian did have a bad day but had qualified for the match play portion of the championship the last three years I think.  I think he had 15 pars and three "others"! 

If the show went well it was really a testament to how natural Brian was at moving the conversation along for Mike and I as it was not anything we had ever done before.  And, as I mentioned, Mike went to Clemson and has a very limited vocabulary :P

I was unaware of the interview.  Please update us on how we can get the interview. 

Mike Riley will be the next sensation in the architecture world, if given the chance.  You heard it here first.  Put me on the record!!!

Mike Riley is really good.  He and Bill Bergin are two guys in Atlanta area who are doing GCA work, both original and renovations, that are the equal of anything anywhere.

Thanks for the scoop.  I've played 4 of Riley's courses and been blown away by all of them.  I've yet to see Bergin's work, but per your suggestion...I'll add it to the list.
