Chicago Golf Club Hole Names
«
on:
September 02, 2011, 10:51:54 PM »
Does anyone know where the names of holes 15 (Ginger Ale) and 16 (Ryanor's Prize) at Chicago Golf Club come from?
Thanks,
Paul

"Raynor's Prize" was a multi-option dogleg contest winner, which pretty much describes that 16th hole.
Maybe "Ginger Ale" is a play on the "Ginger Beer" hole at St Andrews.

Thanks Bill. That does describe the 16th hole. I did a little more looking and still cannot find anything about Ginger Ale.
