My proposed itinerary/schedule would look like this:

Day 1)  Morning - CPC
           Afternoon - Spyglass

Day 2)  Morning - MPCC - Shore Course
           Afternoon - Pebble Beach

Day 3)  Morning - MPCC - Dunes Course
Afternoon - CPC for a 2nd go around.

That's 5 different courses with the one replay coming at CPC.

What would your schedule look like??

Kalen,

I think you've hit the nail on the head.  The one other course, or back 9, that I would include in your itinerary is Pacific Grove.  You can include it after one of your afternoon rounds.  It's a great little walk during a setting sun.  Otherwise, your itinerary looks perfect to me.  Hope it comes true!

Actually,

I have played some of those courses on that list including Pacific Grove.  I was mostly trying to present this as an exercise to see how other members of the tree house would split up thier rounds if such hypothetical happened.

My bad! ;D

Wouldn't change a thing on your original itinerary though.  Hence, my input is useless.  However, it does show that great minds think alike. ;)

If I were to live in Dreamland --- where I wouldn't be limited to 36 per day! (but I will adhere to your rules, Kalen)

Day 1
AM: CPC - Anywhere else and all I would be thinking about is my round at CPC.
PM: MPCC (Composite) - http://golfclubatlas.com/forum/index.php/topic,35829.0.html

Day 2
AM: Pebble Beach
PM: CPC

Day 3
AM: MPCC (Shore)
PM: CPC

Assuming I'm playing alone with my wife walking along it would look like this:

Day 1)  Morning - The Preserve
           Afternoon - Pebble

Day 2)  Morning - CPC
Afternoon - MPCC - Shore Course

Day 3)  Morning - MPCC - Dunes Course
Afternoon - CPC for a 2nd go around.

Kalen:
Are you looking for a Monterey only answer?

Preferably a question by way of an IM.

Why?  Was just trying to confirm that I had interpreted his question correctly, which apparently I had.  And you had not.

I apologize, my comment was convoluted access speak directed at Kalen.

John,

I'm not surprised at your suggestion, but once again you would be wrong.  ;)

It would be impossible to narrow down as the obvious ones jump to my mind immediately; Long Island, Chop Hills/Sand Hills, Monterrey, Bandon, SW or NE Ireland

However, I'm fully confident that the three day stretch I had last week with my dad, brother, and Gorsemen brothers wouldn't be traded for any golf trip in the world.

Tuesday      - Lunch in the R&A Clubhouse with dad and brother
Followed by 18 on the Old Course
Followed by Lagers and tour in the R&A Clubhouse

Wednesday  Morning stroll along the beach with 19 of us to spread the ashes of our fallen brother on #13 North Berwick West Links
Afternoon 18 at North Berwick playing with the father of our fallen brother

Thursday     Morning 18 at Muirfield with Dad and brother
Lunch after in the clubhouse, yes, we ate ALOT
Afternoon alternate shot with Gorsemen brothers

Jed,

You resurrected a wonderful montage of a golf experience that did come to fruition. The Club sets aside a day for members to play the composite course; it is a hit with everyone.

I hope one day we can squeeze you in.

For three days I'd like to have...

1)  Ran, Tom Doak, Tom Paul, and Bob Huntley as tour guides

2)  230,000 lbs of jet fuel

3)  a C-17

4)  around 100 or so of you guys

Where do we want to play?

I don't get so many answers with more than one play at the same course but on different days.  If you're going to play one club twice (particularly one with perhaps the best dining room in golf) then surely 36 and lunch on the same day is the way to go

For me: MPCC (S+D) with lunch; PB, lunch at CPC and CPC; CPC x2 and lunch.  And I might regret not getting enough golf at CPC.
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

For a first time visitor to Monterey (& surrounds) maybe:

Day 1 =  PB / CPC (to see how much better the later is)

Day 2 = CPC / MPS

Day 3 = Pasatiempo / CPC

Day 1:
AM - Old Course
Fly to New York

Day 2:
AM: Shinnecock
PM: NGLA

Day 3:
Early AM: CPC
Early PM: Pebble Beach (course closed to others to avoid a 5 hour round)
Late PM: CPC

Not sure if this is logistically possible, but we can dream right?

So far it looks like its a pretty mixed bag.

Bout half the folks would focus on more or less CPC and the other half would mix it up a bit.

Can you land that thing on a 5000 ft grass strip? If so come to DR, play, and then head south to WP, followed by a trip to Sand Hills. Good golf and I can get home for a weekend to see my family.

I'll be there in 4 days brosef.  No C-17 though.  And I got to make sure my Dawgs show those spud diggers how we play football in Georgia before I can get my rake and hydroseed on.
