Scams in the golf business....
« on: September 01, 2011, 10:27:06 AM »
I just received these two items this morning.
www.GolfBusinessPartners.com
www.GolfBusinessProgram.com
Pure BS....but there must be some people out there that would actually do this stuff.
In other countries I often see various conference "scams" where guys put togehter a conference and the only people that benefit are the conference organizers and now we have these "educational" degrees etc coming on around the world.
Combine that with all the golf business degree programs and we have an industry. ;D ;D ;D

False invites to Yeamans Hall is my personal favorite.  Just last month, which is years later we had a laugh over beers at that one.  Did we ever figure out who was responsible?

I would also say the 99% of all golf bloggers are running some sort of scam.  My favorite is coming on here to post a link to their own blog when that is the only time they ever post.  note:  I would put Flemma in the 1% of good guys.  Love the Flemm.

i'm pretty sure that most club manufactures are running a scam. If i took the promised yardage gains of every Callaway/Taylormade driver over the last decade, I'd be driving well over 400 years...but i'm not.

Here's one [Jeff Shelman] who isn't: http://onlygolfmatters.com.
