Is it suitable for the pros?  I haven't played it but the yardages from the web site seems short.  As an example:

1st - 297
2nd - 344
4th - 325

Joel -

If the wind blows even half as hard as it was blowing there last week, it will indeed be suitable.

better take advantage of the "wee holes" to start because there are some beast on the way back... 10-11 and 17 among others

Yes it's suitable for the pros.

One of my favorites

Most courses "suitable for the pros" suck.

ANd the heavens sent down light and the angels sang!

FAR too much energy wasted on what courses need to do to keep up with pros

You could make the argument that holes like 1, 12 and 14 are even better for those who have a legitimate shot at going for the green and pulling it off.

Likewise the long iron into #8 if going at it in two shots.

Looks like the Tartan Tour events at Brora & Tain went over well. There were a few 65's at Brora, but the courses acquitted themselves nicely.

It sounds like a successful event and a good time was had by all. Good courses stand the test of time and equipment changes.
