Well, I'm going to blow this premise out of the water.  My last ten:

The Renaissance Club (Sunday)
North Berwick West Links (Friday)
Crystal Downs (previous Sunday, and three other times this year)
Royal Melbourne (in July)
Country Club of Detroit (grand re-opening in June)
North Shore CC (grand re-opening in May)
Augusta National (with a client in January)
Lost Farm (grand opening last December)
Barnbougle Dunes
St. Andrews Beach

I'm in the wrong business.

Garland:

If you stop to consider that my list goes back to December -- because I've only played 9 rounds of golf between January 1 and August 2 -- you would understand the true nature of the golf business better.

The glory days are over but I really love New England golf:

(16 listed as I forget the order from last summer)

Yale Golf Course, CT
Atlantic City CC, NJ
Renault Vineyard, NJ
Rutland Country Club, VT
Equinox Country Club, VT
Wahconah Country Club, MA
Sugarloaf Mountain GC, FL
Hotchkiss School Golf Club, CT
TPC Sawgrass, FL
Chechessee Creek, SC
Poland Spring ME
Mount Snow, VT
Brunswick CC, ME
Taconic GC, MA
The Orchards, MA
Palmetto GC, SC

The only one that I could have skipped in hindsight was Mount Snow. Melvin would be happy, I walked every course except for Mt. Snow due to playing partner who likes a cart, as walking is offered. Chechessee was walking with caddy and TPC was forecaddy and my son drove too while I walked.

Tom,

Any chance we can get you to give a scale rating to each of these?

I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Listed in order of preference

Kington
Burnham x 2
Southfield
Players Club Stranahan
Formby
Alwoodley
Seascale
Minchinhampton Old
Finham

I liked all the courses a load except for Minch Old and Finham.  I won't be making any effort to go back to Finham, but I will give Minch Old another go - it has a certain appeal which is undeniable.

I am pretty sure I have only played 4 courses this year.  If I went back to include 10 courses I'd probably have to go all the way back to June 2010 and then my list would look much more impressive because all of the Bandon Dunes courses would be on the list as well as a couple other nice ones.

2011
Vanderbilt Legends South
Kingsley Club
Vanderbilt Legends North
The Little Course at Connor Lane (par 3 course)

Come on, the underlying purpose of this topic is to brag where we have played this summer ...

It's not fair because they are not finished yet.  Obviously he gives the new course at Dismal a 9 which means....Ouch.  No shame in a 7.

The only 2 or 3 in there would be my home club.
