I love these old photos of Bandon Dunes to see how the outside of the course has changed. No. 5 is an example where gorse removal and pine tree removal has changed the look of the hole. I am not against change. Each visit brings different views of the hole and creates new memories. It all has to do with whether you want the hole to play the same year after year, or be different on each visit. The hole is the same year after year but the view has changed each year.
