I'm 3 for 10 so I guess I should consider myself lucky.

I'll but the Monday tickets and hope I can make it work.

I am 1 for 12.   Hit the second year and nothing since.

I took 3 friends and gave them the practice round tickets.  Two years later one of them hit it, and SOLD the tickets for a profit !!

Guess he needed the $ at that time.

Good luck all.

0-for-forever on these, but I'll keep trying. Maybe this year I'll just go anyway, not getting any younger.

I've stopped trying to get practice round tickets. If ANGC doesn't want me, I don't want them either!

First try and 2 tickets for Tuesday practice round.  Wonder if it's easier if you just request 2 instead of 4?

9-10 hr drive but looking forward to it.  Coming from Florida by way of Savannah.  Hotel reservations not easy.  Found a Holiday Inn in Statesboro about 1.5 hr away.  Please no Statesboro Blues comments...

As I've been 0-for-forever on these drawings, my son and I are going to go Thursday since we'll be out east already. Would we be better off securing tickets now, or waiting until we get to Augusta and dealing with the local resellers? (I realize that no matter what, this will be $$$.)

I won my very first time in 2002 for 4 tickets to Tuesday I believe.  I couldn't go in the end so I'm 1-1!  Have to get there in the future.

The problem with tournament days is most of the tickets are for all 4 days so if you buy it for a day you have to give it back to someone when you leave and if they don't know you they aren't likely to trust you with the tickets. I think the only individual tickets for a tournament day are the ones that people won in the lottery and there aren't many of them.

BTW: They allow PGA members in with identification but they cannot bring anyone else in with them without a ticket.

I thought they got 1 guest?  A PGA member asked me to go about 10 years ago saying he got 1 guest.

No PGA guests
nor have they ever allowed them....

Just to be pedantic, I doubt PGA members get complimentary access. USPGA members might.

Jon-
All Class A PGA members(I 'd be shocked if it wasn't International as well) get access-and their own dedicated gate
as well as Superintendants-(GCSAA)

Maybe he meant practice rounds access.  Did they get a guest for practice rounds?

He had never been (and still hasn't) and I would assume he probably got some bad information as he is a great guy.

the Director of Golf at my club said many years ago they allowed PGA members to bring guests in with them - might have been 30 years ago.

The guy I work with took his wife under his PGA card several times. That was a long time ago, though. I plan to go with my PGA card next year. Hopefully.

Do they still send emails if you come up empty?  I registered years ago and I don't ever remember receiving an email.  I checked today and I still do have an account with my correct email.
