It'll be interesting to see how well they can score sans a brutal US Open setup.
I'm guessing winner will still be somewhere in single digits under par....unless they invite Rory!!

Just a hypothetical question:
If sometime after the 2002 US Open Bethpage decided to move the 18th green up the hill near the outdoor terrace, would they have the 2018 US Open instead of Shinnecock?

Joe,
If I remember correclty, the NY Attorney General was threatening to sue the USGA over the rainout ticket issue. I would think that has more to do with 2018 than the location of the green.

Would you ever choose BB over SH? That's ridiculous, in my opinion. The do-over at BB would have to do with Mother Nature, whereas the do-over at SH has to do with the USGA's own failing.
