First time I heard about “Land Banking” it was about this facility constructed in 1993. The owner told me he was going to mess with it until someone bought the ground. This place provided a service to every golfer in the community. They had the only legit club fitter in town. That owner is dead now and golf is still being played.https://teetimegolfcomplex.com/

Is seems to me that tariffs will return manufacturing to countries that are better stewards of the environment. Certainly countries that have higher GDP per co2 emissions. Can't we all be happy for that?

USA emissions are low compared to our GDP because we have outsourced a lot of the emissions (ie the manufacturing) to other countries.
I am just glad I have access to this golf architecture website, where I can track the latest thoughts from the world's foremost authorities on economics, trade, and finance.
Fortunately, a higher percentage of our GDP comes from Goldman Sachs and Blackrock, so it is inherently "cleaner". That said, even without the emissions to GDP figure, do you really think manufacturing is cleaner in China? Which says nothing of loading all the crap on a cargo ship and transporting it across the world.
