How difficult is it to expand greens to their original size?
« on: December 14, 2011, 10:06:13 AM »
It's been well discussed on here why greens on classic golf courses shrink over time through maintenance practices. My question is, how difficult is it to expand the greens back to their original size (assuming that the green sits on an obvious fill pad). What is involved in the process? How long does it take? Is it expensive? Is it a practice/project that gets a lot of push back from memberships and superintendents, or is it becoming more acceptable?

???
