Were the 17th and 18th at Yale ever named differently?

17 is a double plateau green (currently named Nose, which is also accurate, just curious if it was ever named Plateau), and is 18 a Hog's Back hole (currently named Home)?

Trevor-18 used to be called "Odyssey". The change to "Home" on the scorecard was made sometime after 2001. The only change I know about for 17 is that it was changed on the scorecard also after 2001 from "The Nose" to "Nose". I almost think that "Odyssey" may be a better name for 18 as no one who play`s it will dispute that moniker.

Odyssey is the ideal name for Yale's 18th.

I guess I made it more of an adventure for you than needed by not telling you to back down to a fairway wood off the tee. Most mortals don`t have that problem you encountered of hitting it too far. ;)

Not your fault Tim.  Its not like my partner wasn't aware.  He's the one I am ever so disappointed in. Of course, he also had reason to be irritated with me for making bogey from 145 on 17! :)

Oh, man, how good is the green there on 17?!

Agreed Joe and what a good hole to immediately precede the home hole.  I can't say enough good things about the entire place and I can't say a bad one. Not an indifferent hole there.
