Wouldn't miss it. Would love to see the changes and with some hoped for dry weather see the course running.

Patrick, when you say "Oakmontesque " are you clearing trees and opening vistas across swaths of holes?

Yes, and the results are stunning.

If not that, then what?

John Shimony,

You're welcome to attend.

However, I noticed that you listed your home base as Philadelphia, PA.

You should be aware that metal detectors and psychological screening will be required for all Phillyphanatics, Merionettes and escapees from HappyDale Farms.

Not to exclude them from attending, but rather to segregate them in a bullet proof glass cage from the rest of the attendees.
Tom MacWood and David Moriarty will also be given bullet proof vests, and all caddies accompanying anyone from Philly will be armed with tasers and tranquilizer dart guns.
 ;D

Bill Brightly,

I've gotten more upright over my putter and my irons and it's improved both.

There's a possibility that attendees might be able to play other courses in the area, like The Knoll, Preakness Hills and Essex County East.

If the event it is confirmed, I"ll supply more info

Mr. Mucci,
I do qualify as a Phillies Phanatic.  It's hard to contain my phanaticism for such a great ball team.  But I will be on my best behavior.

I'll try to post some current photos along with a 1932 photo of the 1930 Wendehack clubhouse, which is majestic and almost unchanged since 1930

Maybe, if it ties it into an extended golf trip, such as Nova Scotia or Northern Ireland.

Patrick - The clubhouse reminds me a bit of the one at Indianwood near Detroit. I can't fine any pictures of Indianwood to post, but they are hosting the 2012 US Senior Open so I'm sure some will start popping up.

Patrick,
Count me in and hopefully the timing is right and Ash Towe will be here too. I look forward to seeing the course without the rain.

Pat,

Two more Philly fruitcakes would appreciate a second serve of the wonderful day you hosted last year. My brother Steve was in for last year and then couldn't make it up.

I recently spoke with Ron Pritchard and he is quite enthusiastic about the results the upcoming work at MR should yield. I loved your place in the rain, I'm sure it will really be testing if we are fortunate enough to can catch a drier presentation.

Thanks again for your gracious offer and theTasers are on order.

Cheers,
