The New York Times linked their article to his web site?  That's a new one in my experience.

I only discovered that because I was trying to copy and paste the quote about Jones having designed several original courses and redesigns which have hosted major tournaments.  [Unfortunately, now the paywall is in my way, and I can't get back to the exact quote at all.]  Did the fact-checkers at the Times get that right or wrong?  What original designs by Rees have hosted major championships, or other Tour events?

The quote about Jones:

Rees Jones, whose signature is affixed to several original or restored courses on the United States Open-P.G.A. Championship circuit (including the Atlanta Athletic Club’s Highlands layout at this weekend’s P.G.A.),
"I never beat a well man in my life" - Harry Vardon

You have more links overall, but a lower grade than Rees:

http://websitegrader.com/site/www.renaissancegolf.com

Rees has less links but a better grade due mainly to better traffic:

http://websitegrader.com/site/www.reesjonesinc.com

Websitegrader.com was developed out of MIT, so you have the home field - oops - course advantage!

Tom,

The Shell Houston Open's venue is a Rees Jones original design- Redstone GC. Ironically, Phil Mickelson won this year's toonamint:

“Every course I do, I design for the members,”

The members or the committee with a boner for tough championship cred?  How do all the weekly tee-time players at Cog Hill #4 like the changes?

“This place will change the face of golf,”

Nothing like a little modesty.
