Good article by Jeff Silverman in the latest issue of the GAP Magazine. Many of the courses have been discussed here at GCA.

 So, I could have walked to three ( one still there-Springhaven ) golf courses from my house.

No surprise that a couple streets now on the site of the former Tredyffrin course are named "Fairway Road" and "Golf Club Lane". Nice article.

In the article jeff fails to mention that the Brookline Square Club became Paxon Hollow. Shortly after they sold the haverford property they purchased the ground a few miles away in Marple twp. to build PH.

  Very good article.  I believe he omitted the original Green Valley, 1919,  in Roxbourgh.  I have an aerial of it.  No idea who designed it.

The original Haverford course arial is really neat.  JWB, can you post that up?
