Is Knoll West semi-private?

How has the membership received the changes completed so far?

Did Banks design Knoll East?

Richard:

Knoll East is a shooting gallery -- an absolute waste of time. Purely for recreationa golf and nothing more.

Possibly George B can comment on the reactions -- but frankly many times the broad base golfer population has little
understanding of what quality architecture can be about. Just keep the tee open, the beverage cups full and away we go.

"The" Knoll is a terrific golf course, and at its normal par of 70 a very strong challenge

In regards to #18 at KW -- it would be really good to lengthen the hole and put back into play the "fear" element that golfers years ago experienced when coming into that devilish target from say 200 or more yards.

Matt, the sole joy of being a short hitter is the opportunity to experience the architect's original intent/design. :'(

Bogey:

You misunderstand me -- there are existing middle and forward tees -- I am speaking about restoring the former hole by adding a back tee area (which George B previously mentioned). I can see the ending hole being just under 500 yards and making that fearsome approach back to what it was years and years ago.

By the way -- when is the last time you played The Banks Course at Forsgate -- did you see the new back tee at #18 there ?
