I'd say the general consensus of those at the Boomerang was that BD was the better of the two, but Lost Farms was still a blast to play. Mike Keiser is certainly a savvy marketer, and his statement smells to me of promotion. It is certainly a great course, but there are at least a handful of courses built in the last 50 years that would give it a run for the money, including Doak's 2 down under, Sand Hills, Kingsley, the new courses on LI and some of Dye's best work (and this is by no means a comprehensive list).
Hard to compare the Barney courses to WF, as they're completely different styles. I'd say they rival any combination of 2 at Bandon very favorably. As for Monterrey, it would be hard to top any combination that has Cypress involved. Put Pebble with just about any other course in the area and I'd guess most would prefer the Barney courses.
