Great opportunity to play a fantastic course!  GAP Member Play Day is set for Tuesday, May 3 at Huntingdon Valley Country Club.

Cost is $110 and is open to all Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP) members.  As of 10PM, there were only 14 slots left.

You can sign up at www.gapgolf.org

Thanks Dan for the info. I'll not be in town then, but it certainly is a solid play!

Cheers,
Kris

Dan,

I just signed up. Will you be there?

Trying to maybe steal a good idea for my local GA.

Does the GAP have several of these per year? Are there differences in entry fees based on the golf course? How is the money split between the club and the GAP?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, there are several per year:

This year's line up of clubs is excellent.

Prices vary depending on the course. Lunch is usually included. Perhaps someone from GAP can chime in on the split between club/GAP.

Also, there is a winter series beginning in November.

In all honesty though, is there a reason why nothing is scheduled on the weekend for GAP Events?  I would play in a lot more of these events if they weren't during work hours.

I'm not in Philly, but I'd guess that very few clubs would be interested in giving up their course to non-members on the weekend. The members hate it when this happens.

The Minnesota Golf Association has hosted these events for the last few years and they have been very popular.
