coffin bunkers?

 :o Has anyone ever noticed the small rectangular bunkers off the second fairway at Pine Valley.  The ones with the grass overgrown and flowing into the sand?  It's resemblance to a coffin seems fitting for Pine Valley.

If you liked them now, you'll love them even more in the 1925 photo on page 53 in Geoff Shackelford's book, "The Golden Age of Golf Design"
