Mike,

Don't worry, I enjoy college plenty.  This trip should only be a one-day, so I still have a couple days to whoop it up.

Interestingly, many folks have told me to make all these trips now because I'd have no time after college.  My solution: make some trips now...and later as well.

I'm also a serious golf addict.  Do you know a good rehab facility?

JNC-Rehab is for quitters.

I'm not a quitter...which is why I'm playing golf in NJ this weekend.

Yardwork (and other home owner stuff) is calling this weekend.  LOTS of branches and limbs still down.  So I'm out.
I'll likely attempt to sneak out & play nine at Jeffersonville if they're open, or somewhere else local.

Look forward to the 'next' outing.

Matt,  I'm not sure if Atlantis is open yet--we don't have any snow cover down here (I live a 3-minute drive from the clubhouse) and in passing it today, I didn't see any golfers on the course.

I'm not available to play this weekend--but I would like to play there, once or twice, in the spring, before the greenheads come out en masse and the trees get too thick.  Let me know when you're down.

Matt, the 6th hole at Atlantis-looks downhill, is that correct?  I'm going off bing.com/maps) There appears to be gentle slopes all across the golf course.

Let's think about 3/19 or 3/20 for a game, weather permitting, maybe at ACCC or Blue Heron Pines.  I would like to see Greate Bay this spring.

As a sidenote, dragonflies are natural predators of greenheads.  Here's an article from last summer:

Doug:

When those greenheads hatch -- the party is OVER !!!

Atlantis is a really fascinating story -- just a unique course that if some time and attention were paid - it could have been much more.

Plenty of solid holes and quite creative routing plan to squeeze the holes into the mixture. When you stand on the par-3 6th it's a real gem of a hole among a number of others.

Just don't play there when the bugs invade !!!

Like I said above, I am thinking of holding off for a more formal event at SCC once the course gets firm and fast.

That leaves us with GNGC per Sev or Greate Bay per Archie and we are targeting Saturday.  Current high is 54 with mostly couldy skies and a 10% chance of rain.  Sunday looks like a wet one.

I know that 3-4 have PM'd Sev and are interested in playing Galloway on Saturday.  He was kind enough to get an 11:30 tee time.  Not sure what else is in the mix at this point?

Mark,
Bring your running shoes!

I just heard that our back 9 is open (still snow in the hill shadows on the front nine).  I'm starting to get the itch :)
