I'm off to Silloth, Seascale and Formby in July.  We shall see who collects on the bet as to whether or not I BELIEVE Silloth is better than St Enodoc.  Scott Warren has set a high bar to win the money.

I'm off to St Andrews in October; I think we are playing the New, Old and Castle.  First time back there in a few years.

Some of us GCAers are playing Burnham in March.  We need one more...

I expect I will play some some odds n' sods games of which I want to prioritize Alwoodley, Notts and Sunny Old, but I am open to offers - tee hee.

Just want to point out, in case you are not reading the "Burnham Break" thread, that I am planning another GCA Sagebrush event, likely in early July, but not yet firmed up.

I was in texas last year about this time and right after a snowstorm just like last week.  A week after it snowed at rawls the course was still under a foot of water.

I hope it's open for you.

Jonathan -

I was also there this same time last year.  Dallas got the blizzard and we got stuck sleeping on the floor of DFW airport. We flew out the next morning, seeing the snow on the ground the whole time...by the time we got to Lubbock, it had melted and we were playing by late morning.

We played 2 rounds at Rawls and were the only ones on the course the 2nd round....it was a blast.  Coming from minnesota, if the course is open, there isn't a possible chance we aren't playing.

Shane,

It was 61 degrees out when I got to the course and the place was a disaster from the prior few days weather.  Getting out to play wasn't even an option.  I got the old, "Hell, it never snows down here but maybe 1 day a year!"  Yeah, right.

Best of luck! :)

You may get your wish. Got out to the driving range for the first time in over 3 months and it was not pretty...

Understandable - Lubbock is a tough place to get "back to" on the priority list.

I'll try to get some decent pictures.

Thanks Mark.  That is a little later than normal.   Love that event!  Have gone quite a few times but still waiting to have a shot at playing myself.
