In the spirit of the thread, it really should be, but you don't get a body like mine if you aren't willing to go across town for local foods! We should probably limit it to food at the club or course.
Two funny club food stories -
Old - While working for Killian and Nugent, they sent me to Briarwood CC to present on a new forward tee program without telling them their 25 year old associate was coming instead of a principle. After the presentation, we headed to lunch where they told me how good the food was. After they all ordered high end stuff, the club president leans over and tells me "I hear the grilled cheese is good!"
Newer- Jewish clubs are often known for great food. A friend was a member of a Jewish club and always extolling the virtues of its food, as part of this tradition. So one day, I asked him about his Passover Plans. Turns out, they let him in to fill the roles, but he was Catholic.
