Wow, that was a fun 2.5 hrs to snowblow my little drive. 4' drifts and that 6 club wind. Had to break out a pitchfork to knock the snow down below the discharge chute.

So far, either day is free for me. As to the weather, 1967 more snow but less wind. I got out of town on the last plane during the storm that got Bilandic. Played golf while the city shoveled out.

Yes, I did take them.

No real story other than I live a few blocks from where the pics were taken and I went out with a camera earlier to see the damage. Last night LSD was a stand still as far as I could see in both directions. Obviously, a lot of the cars never ended up moving...

They nailed this one accurately, that is for sure. The loss of life/productivity was much lower than it would've been without their forecasting. Actually, I believed their hype - but I stand by my statement - the weather man IS selling fear, on a daily basis. No other career in the world with less accountability than being a television weather man.
