I have neglected GCA.com in the past few months (ever since the arrival of #2), and now realize that I've been doing so at my peril.

As I know WAY more about food than I do GCA, or anything else for that matter, I plan on attending this event again.  Last year was a terrific event (both dinners) and I'm excited for this year's dinner as well.

I will be selling autographed copies of Colton's book by the way - please reserve one early.

Great news.  And I'm happy see Mr Cronin will be coming to point out the errors and omissions of my ways. 

I have named my presentation  "Origin of the Species:  First Golf Courses in Chicago."   Mr H.J.Tweedie played an essential role in that era and will be featured in my presentation.
