Power to the People at Perth

Causes can still be won, no battle is lost unless first in the mind.

The argument used was to convey that a golf course was just as important as an old building of merit and therefore should be Listed, Graded or preserved due to its age and importance to the community.  Had North Inch been a building dating back 140-50 years it would have been Listed by now.

On this occasion the owners agreed with the golfers concerns, but then why not when North Inch is to Perth what the Stone of Destiny is to Scone. Alas the Council are not happy but then perhaps they should have taken more interest in their own people’s opinions.

Be honest Melvyn. The REAL reason that you were against the bridge project is because it was a CART PATH!  ;D

Seriously, though; good job!

Good work and all the best in 2011!  I enjoy your contributions, even if I prefer the odd ride.
