Has anyone played Hampton Hall?
I think that Mr. Dye  mailed this one in. Maybe PB helped out. The fairways are wide wnough to land a 747, quite flat. The biggest defense of the course is it's length-7500yds long at sea level. It's just long, but there is much more character at HT, LCC and Colleton River.

Anthony,

We completed May River, and it had been open long before we started Sebonack. I'm guessing it was open 2 years before Sebonack opened. Merry Christmas.

JNC Lyon,

Typically you have to stay at the Auberge Resort, or be a member to play May River, but if you would like to play it let me know and I will arrange.

I second the recommendation of May River.  It is one of my favorite courses in the region,  The low country vibe at Palmetto Bluff is great.  Kick back in a rocking chair on the back deck of the clubhouse next to the fireplace with your favorite beverage after the round.  I'm also a fan of the Nickalus course at Colleton River and both courses at Berkley Hall.  If you can get out to Berkley, go a few hours early and enjoy the practice facilities.  The short game area is as good as it gets.
