When I was a lad back in the 1970s, with hopes and dreams of managing a Yahoo fantasy golf league, I never aspired to 30 teams, yet here we are...welcome, all.

We are currently at 40 teams, which will alot 400 walnuts for the prize pool, should everyone pay in...

Therefore, let us enter the second stage of this league:  the pay-in (not to be confused with the weigh-in.)

All walnuts paid in will be paid out; hence, this is not gambling, since the house keeps nothing.

What I'm going to do is the following...if I receive your walnuts before 1/15, you will be eligible for prizes for winter, spring and summer seasons and overall.  If you send in walnuts before the second week of spring season, you will eligible for spring and summer seasons and overall, but not winter.  If you send in your walnuts before the second week of summer season, you will be eligible for summer and overall, but not the previous two.  You will pay 20 walnuts regardless of when you enter, so it behooves you to get them in PROMPTLY.

In case you are slow or unimaginative, WALNUTS IS A EUPHEMISM.
