Jason, No. We've been playing 6 and 7 somes (today). Plus, there's someone always late, or, has to leave early. (Especially when one is a local mortician.) We've even tried Wolf (Captains), where the captain gets two picks. It's worked out very well.

Got my first chance to see Michelle Wie back in Feb.

I had followed her through 17 holes with small galleries, but for some reason it was ten deep at the 18th tee.

So I just held my camera above my head, waited to hear contact, and clicked .

For me, my best photo of the year, and I should do it more often has been the comments  ::)

My 9 year-old son Dan on his first visit to Reddish Vale on a very cold December morning.



He hit a fantastic 3-wood straight at a tree.  Looking at this photo I can see why! :)

Where's the fairway??  Great looking set up!  Once he starts lining them up, there won't be any stopping him!

The fairway's just above Dan's hat. It's a 130 yard carry and he would have made it too, if he'd been aiming the right way!

It was a magical couple of hours and it was a joy to see his face when I pulled the set of junior clubs out of the trunk of my car for him as an early Christmas present.

Enjoy it!  My son turns 40 in January and just kicks my butt - until my strokes kick in!
