Since I live in Arizona and would like to continue playing golf, I'm going to go with modern.

The "classic" courses here generally leave a lot to be desired.

It would be interesting to know Mr. Keiser's answer to this question.  I understand he plays at some of the great classic courses yet has developed some of the finest modern courses.

I don't think I can answer the question, but how about this one:  If you could only play parkland or linksland golf the rest of your life, what you you choose?   If my wife left me I'd probably be going around Royal Dornoch each morning (with a massive hangover).
