Online GCA Research Sites
« on: November 13, 2010, 11:22:57 PM »
I am looking for some articles from the early 1900s and was wondering what sites have been of help for many of you.  I've hit the Tribune, Globe and CS Monitor's sites already (as well as the la84 foundation) but am looking for something new.

Thanks!

The USGA Museum, the USGA Architecture archive, www.archive.org, New York Public Library digital archive. New York State Archives, The Library of Congress, The national archives.

I've found stuff at each of these sources. Though my focus is more on imagery than articles. If you need any help finding these, just let me know, or if you're looking for something specific, I can keep my eye out for it.

And if you have access to it via your local library, America's Historical Newspapers by Readex.

Great question.

The LA 84 foundation website is good for old golf magazines.

I'd love to hear from Tom MacWood but every time I've asked him he has never been willing to share his vast resources.
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Ryan;

When you say you've been looking for some articles from the early 1900s what specifically are you looking for?
