In a girls vs. boys showdown Lorena Ochoa took home the winner take all 1.28 million to win the inaugural Mission Hills Star Trophy. She finished the 2 day tournament (4 Day Celebrity Pro-Am) at -4 and was able to birdie 18 to force a playoff with Colin Montgomerie, only to find out later that he was given a 2 stoke penalty when his caddie moved a sign in the fairway on 16....

The course played very difficult, and the wind was steady for the last few days, making play a lot tougher, looking forward to see how the course plays at next years World Cup. There should be some highlights on Golf Channel tonight if you guys want to see more of the course.

Ryan, thanks for posting these pictures. The bunker style looks quite interesting. I really like the outside edges where the grass is a bit shaggy.

Did everyone play the same tees?

Ron, we actually have a bunch of bunkers that transition straight to lava rock... I will post some photos later for you. We used Bahia to try  and soften the transitions a bit. Planting some in the bunkers and some outside in the rocks.

Jim, the girls played from about 6,600 yards, and the guys played at over 7,400 yards
