If i brought my Dad's golf club membership card would they really notice?  I don't think my Muni card would count.  :(

"The problem today is that the R&A want to put these elite golfers on a pedestal, instead of seeing them perform over our normal courses."

Does that mean the AELTC should put some stands around the local park and have players using a local tennis court or England internationals should be played at Hackney Marshes so the players experience the mud bath Sunday morning players get every week?

Golf courses are by and large continually evolving things as is technology, lots of people want to put a freeze on technology and wind back to "better" times but when was better?
