El Caballaero



400 square miles within the city limits!

The city of Los Angeles is comprised of many many large neighborhoods, which may be larger than many cities elsewhere in the U.S., but which are part of the city of L.A. out here.

Just to clarify, Bob mentioned Beverly Hills, which is a separate city even though it is surrounded by the City of Los Angeles.

That said, while three of the courses border or almost border separate cities surrounded by the City of LA, all the courses mentioned are all in neighborhoods with the City of LA:  Westwood (LACC), Bel Air (Bel Air), Tarzana (El Cab), and Pacific Palisades (Riviera) are all considered neighborhoods within the City of Los Angeles, as is Hancock Park (Wilshire).  To make matters more confusing, the addresses often reflect the neighborhood, not the City of Los Angeles.

All that said, I am not sure El Cab belongs on the list for different reasons.
