Price is high at $50 a club, but a pretty cool collection to own.

Vintage wood shaft golf club collection for $800,000

Maybe something for Mike Keiser to buy so folks can play hickory golf at Bandon.

Cheers,

Golf is so casual. You just got to the course, miss things, tramp around in the briars, use pungent language, and throw two thousand dollars worth of equipment in a pond. Unlike skydiving or rugby, golf gives you leisure to realize it's pointless.

When you get to St Andrews next year, it would be worth e-mailing The St Andrews Golf Company to ask for a short tour of their factory, you may find it enjoyable. Attached is a short video clip from Home of Golf TV dated 2009

Might have saved you $80000 but could cost you $2-3,000 instead.
