I want someone to tell me how long a course I can play ...NO I DON'T. Shame on you who preach short courses only or long courses only.
If the course is good enough, most everybody will play from DAMN NEAR ANYWHERE THEY ARE TOLD AND LIKE IT because it is often the case that the yardage is not what makes the course a winner nor does it have much to do with why folks want to visit. If you don't want to be told where to play from, don't bother visiting the vast majority of clubs in GB&I with great courses.
