Thanks Michael for your feedback. I agree the vastness of the fairways, and minimal movement of quite few greens you speak of, probably negates for some the need to take a caddie. The high geens fee can't help either, as taking a caddie on top makes for a pricey day! To be fair, the wind can fairly scream there, so care was surely taken not have it to severe.
I rode/walked the ground in the early days of construction. I've not played it yet, but it seems as though they could have gotten a bit more intrigue and test out of that ground, but opted for not beating up the high-end duffer. Well, their team spent a lot of time, talent and money on that project, I hope it delivers for them.
