Golf is a game. We play it. Somewhere along the way we took the fun out of it and charged a premium to be punished.- - Ron Sirak

Yes - Solid golf course with a nice mix of desert, dune and mountain stretches. Best ithe mountain plunge from 11 through 14 that includes a couple of excellent short par fours.

No bad holes on the course though some of the flat holes on the front nine are less compelling than the rest of the course though the green complexes provide interest. The interest is not always in the form of wild racy greens as Doak has thrown in a couple of push up / plateau green without any wild undulations. I think it is hole five where your best miss by far ids anywhere long as the green is maybe 10 feet above the fairway with a slight front to back pitch and plenty of closely mown area behind. Pretty cool concept on an otherwise "bland desert hole"

IMO not t Top 100 course but one you should make the trek to see if in Cabo. Plan on spending the night if doing so and the best plan is drive up arrving just before dark, enjoy the serenity that is BDLS and tee it up in the morning with plenty of lighht to get back to Cabo. Driving up and back in the same day is a bad idea and perhaps not possible as golf to this point had been limited to guests of Grand Sueño, which is a quaint little abode in the middle of the project.
