Some great answers----It is David Staebler, the USGA's man in charge of Rules Education. He is a longtime member of Rolling Green and several times club champion. He was an early member of gca.com. He put together the definitive cd of archive information on Rolling Green.

I met him last week when he ran the Sectional qualifier in Memphis.Nice guy.

When I heard he was a Philly guy,I asked him if he A) knew of gca.com,and B) knew TEPaul. He said that he wished he'd never heard of gca.com and that TEPaul was actually that crazy in real life.

He was smiling as he answered.
