Wear your  'GCA'  hats so we can spot ye !

The Rickie Fowler Puma orange would do just nicely.

I keep getting reports from a buddy stating Pebble is a beast right now. Not really a surprise, because they will cut the rough before the boys show up.

I was partial to the bunker eyebrows. There were stands of grass 4-5 feet long. They literally looked like fake eyelashes.

It's a shame the company doesn't respect it's customer enough to give them that awesome look year round.

Can't wait - having never seen Pebble before.

This CT golfer is flying out Thursday night, the wife and I are at Pebble for Friday's second round before heading up for a weekend in Sonoma.  Planning on following Matt Kuchar for all 18 (his caddy is a good friend of ours).  Will check back to this thread next week to see if anyone is planning a Friday meet up.  Would love to say hello to a few GCA'ers.

I live 90 minutes away and I plan to be in the area Thursday.

Shoot me a PM if you'd like to get together.

excellent...someone from cali please tell me a great day and place to meet up...usually late in the day works for me as the tournament progresses.  Wed and Thurs are tougher as I have to gather interviews, but if that's what you pick, fine.

Please also contact me off list with phone numbers.  Looking forward to all of you.

P.S.  I'm easy to spot.  I usually wear all black.  Short and thin.  Dirty blond hair, goatee.

I'll be there all week.  I'm volunteering as a Player Shuttle Driver.  If any of you sticks are in the field, I'll give you a lift out to the 10th tee.

I'm there now and staying through the tournament.  Playing the course tomorrow.  I'm told it is playing very tough--much longer and touger than last time.  I have extra tickets if anyone is desperate.

I'll be there Sun - Thurs at various times, especially following Olympia Fields member Bennet Blakeman, who qualified as co-medalist at Bull Valley.  Way cool.  All of a sudden, we have more than a few folks playing in major events.  Not me though.   ;D
That was one hellacious beaver.

I'll be out there Thursday through Sunday as a walking official with a group.  I won't know which groups until Wednesday night.  Check my blog for which group each day.

I hope to get down there on Wednesday to walk the course and get familiar with all the TIOs etc.

Can't wait to meet whoever is there! Just a thought, but perhaps we should consider meeting a little earlier as Tiger's group will be going through the 8th around 3:15?  ;D

I'm volunteering on Tue, Thur and Sunday. I'm very excited- thus is the first pro golf tournament I have attended.

Sorry I can't meet on Thursday, I'm only there for Friday's round.

FYI, for all of us who look for "firm and fast", I've heard from someone on the ground that Davis Love got to number 6 in two during yesterday's practice round....4 iron off the tee and 6 iron onto the green!

Mr. Flemma asked me to reiterate that the meeting will be near the 8th green at 4pm sharp.

Hopefully everyone can meet there then.

I was there, but I saw no one familiar.

Was I snubbed or did I not recognize the pack?
